HOW TO USE
Preparing Your Hair:
- Ensure hair is clean and completely dry before using the wand and comb through hair to prevent knots and tangles.
- Use a heat protectant, such as the Flair Protect Spray, to protect the hair from heat damage and reduce frizz or static
Styling:
- Whilst the Wand is off, select the desired barrel size, attach to the base unit and lock in. Select the temperature, we recommend 170˚C for fine hair, 200˚C for medium hair, 230˚C for thick/ coarse hair.
- Section off hair into small manageable sections and clamp the hair close to the root but not too close to the scalp. Hold for 4-8 seconds, depending on the thickness of the hair section and hair type, then release the clamp and move down the hair section.
- Start the next wave by slightly overlapping over the last wave. Repeat this step to the ends of the hair
Finishing:
- Allow hair to cool and set before styling and finishing.
- Use a styling brush or a wide-tooth comb and gently loosen the waves for a relaxed look. Alternatively, flip your hair over and lightly rake your hair with your hands to loosen up the wave.
Extra Styling Tips:
- Use a very light layer of fixative spray or dry shampoo before styling or at the end of each styled section for extra hold
- Replicate the same sectioning and styling patterns on both sides of the face for a consistent style
- Use different barrel sizes to create a real beach hair look. Start with the large barrel and then change to a smaller size and select random sections throughout the hair. Allow the barrel to cool off before changing.
